Job summary

Englert in Perth Amboy, NJ is seeking a dedicated Continuous Improvement Specialist to plan processes, schedules and lead lean initiatives, including Kaizen events.

You will train production staff, ensure standard work, develop KPIs, and drive cross-functional collaboration to prevent defects and improve operations.

The role offers a day shift with potential for other shifts as needed and a competitive salary with a 5% bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CI/lean/manufacturing preferred.
• 2+ years in continuous improvement/lean manufacturing; 4+ preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification required; Green Belt preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support workflow and lean manufacturing processes for production.
• Analyze production methods using lean principles.
• Implement improvements with production staff to meet demand.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for the shop floor and 5S program.
• Train staff in lean manufacturing and standard work.
• Provide updates on Kaizen events and KPI results to CI leadership.
• Maintain Work Instructions and 5S Audit program.
