Job summary

United Staff Group is seeking a K-8 Speech-Language Pathologist to join a small, hands-on school environment focused on maximizing student communication competence and academic integration.

You will assess and plan, design IEPs, and deliver direct therapy using AAC systems for non-verbal students, collaborating closely with teachers and families to sustain gains across daily routines.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure and CCC-SLP (ASHA or local governing equivalent).
  • Experience or training in K-8 special needs, ASD, and AAC implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive formal and informal evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and literacy skills.
  • Design data-driven, evidence-based Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Establish functional, measurable communication goals tailored to each student.
  • Provide direct individual and small-group therapy sessions; implement AAC and assistive technologies.
  • Coordinate with teachers and train parents to support communication tools.
