Job summary

Elite School Staffing seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to K–8 students for the 2026–2027 school year. The role includes evaluation, therapy, consultation, and collaboration with families, teachers, and special education staff to ensure services align with IEPs.

The SLP will deliver direct and indirect services, develop individualized therapy plans, and use assistive communication strategies to support student access and participation in general education settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
• Valid Michigan SLP license issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) required.
• Must meet Michigan DOE and special education requirements to provide services in a public school setting.
• CCC through ASHA preferred.
• Maintain all required licenses and credentials throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments.
• Evaluate articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and related areas.
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct and indirect services to K–8 students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy based on data.
• Maintain documentation of evaluations, therapy, and progress.
