Job summary

United Staff Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a small, hands-on school environment focused on maximizing student communication and academic integration.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, design data-driven IEPs with functional goals, provide direct therapy including AAC, and collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Training staff and parents on carryover strategies is also part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • CCC-SLP certification from ASHA or equivalent.
  • Experience with ASD and AAC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and literacy skills.
  • Design data-driven IEPs with functional communication goals.
  • Provide direct individual and small-group therapy, including AAC and assistive technologies.
  • Address articulation, phonology, fluency, and social pragmatic language delays.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and participate in IEP conferences.
  • Train parents and classroom staff on carryover strategies.
