Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Development Specialist to lead K-8 life-skills workshops, drive student motivation, and monitor progress through Coachbot analytics.

You will administer mastery assessments, re-coach where needed, and adapt sessions for a range of ages while maintaining a high standard of student engagement. This is a full-time, on-site role across multiple campus locations in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students: classroom teaching, tutoring, athletic coaching, camp leadership, or youth program work.
• Comfortable letting adaptive learning software deliver the academic instruction while you own motivation and life-skills coaching.
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions to push students to 100% of weekly goals.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment and re-coach until mastery is achieved.
• Adapt workshop playbooks and create new sessions to suit different ages.
• Be the authoritative yet approachable adult for students.
