Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to coach K-8 students through high-energy life-skills workshops and coaching sessions. You’ll use Coachbot analytics and motivation systems to help students hit ambitious weekly goals, while fostering confidence and resilience.

You will lead workshops, assess progress, and tailor coaching across elementary and middle school groups, driving tangible student growth and ownership of learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years working with K-8 students in teaching, coaching, or mentoring roles.
• Experience coaching and motivating students to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Run high-energy life-skills workshops for K-8 students.
• Coach students individually and in small groups using analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life-skill mastery and provide targeted coaching until mastery.
• Adapt coaching across age groups from kindergarten to eighth grade.
• Analyze weekly performance data to improve outcomes for the cohort.
