Job summary

Alpha seeks a Youth Development Specialist to coach K-8 students on life skills, public speaking, focus, and feedback, on a full‑time, on‑site basis at an Alpha campus. You will run one-hour workshops and monitor progress with Coachbot analytics and Alpha's incentive systems.

You will 1:1 coach students to 100% of weekly app goals, adapt sessions for diverse ages, and serve as the adult who sets high standards. Relocation support is provided to suitable campuses across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years working directly with K-8 students (teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp leadership).
• Legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Willing to work in person at an Alpha campus in Scottsdale, AZ; Oklahoma City or Tulsa, OK; Nashville, TN; or Austin, Dallas, or Plano, TX; relocation support provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead one-hour life-skills workshops for K-8 cohorts on public speaking, focus, and feedback.
• Conduct daily 1:1 and small-group motivation sessions to push weekly app goals.
• Administer the Test2Pass mastery assessment and provide re-coaching until passing.
• Adapt workshop playbook for different ages, from kindergarteners to 8th graders.
• Be the standard and the trusted adult students choose to talk to.
