Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Student Success Coach to guide K-3 students through app-based learning on-site, with relocation support provided. You will diagnose reading gaps, tailor short sequences, and stay with students through daily routines to reach classroom goals.

You must have 3+ years with children 4-9, 2+ years coaching reading in K-3, and a structured-literacy background (or a master's). Bachelor's degree required; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• On-site campus work with relocation support.
• At least 3 years working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or similar settings.
• At least 2 years coaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master's in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor's degree required; teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Coach two to four students in app-based core learning and close gaps.
• Lead morning launch, literacy sessions, and check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Drive students toward weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing, planning next steps.
• Diagnose gaps from running records and fluency probes and design sequences.
