Alpha is hiring a Learning Coach to guide K–3 students through app-based literacy activities on-site at multiple campuses across the country. You will diagnose reading gaps, design short intervention sequences, and support students from launch to closing each day.

Required are 3+ years with children aged 4–9, 2+ years teaching reading in K–3, and structured-literacy training or a master's in reading. A Bachelor's degree is needed; visa sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site at a campus listed above, with relocation support.
• At least 3 years direct work with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
• Comfortable spending ~90% of day guiding students through app-based learning.
• Willing to work with all K-3 students; no visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and identifying gaps.
• Running short literacy sessions with 2–4 students; diagnose decoding gaps and teach a designed sequence.
• Lead morning launch, workshops, and check-chart activities for six-year-olds.
• Drive students to weekly app goals using currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch and recess, planning for frustrated students.
