Job summary

Alpha is hiring Learning Coaches to guide K–3 students through app-based core learning and structured literacy sessions. You will lead morning launches, life-skills workshops, and classroom routines, ensuring daily goals are met.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, targeted interventions, and ongoing progress tracking on campus. Requires 3+ years with young children, 2+ years in reading instruction, and formal structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading.

Qualifications

• Willing to work on-site at a campus listed above with relocation support.
• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in relevant settings.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning, spotting gaps and guiding progress.
• Running short structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students, diagnosing gaps.
• Leading morning launch, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Driving weekly app goals with school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Staying with students through lunch, recess, and closing with actionable plans.
