Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Program Director to coach Guides and students using performance data and direct feedback. You will facilitate live workshops for K-3 students, drive motivation sessions, and connect individual goals to real academic progress.

You will build scalable playbooks, train Guides, and model excellence to ensure standards grow with the team. This in-person role requires relocation to Austin, TX or Scottsdale, AZ and a strong track record in education leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years working with elementary-aged children (roughly ages 5 to 9).
• Experience leading a team of 5+ people with hiring/removal authority.
• Experience building or growing a program or initiative from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and feedback to achieve measurable goals.
• Facilitate one-hour live workshops for K-3 students on life skills (public speaking, focus, collaboration, resilience).
• Lead motivation sessions linking student goals to academic progress.
• Develop and refine playbooks to scale best practices across the team.
• Train Guides on playbooks and model excellence to maintain standards as the team grows.
