Job summary

Ampact, through the Math Corps program, is seeking tutors to support students in local schools with 20–30 minute math sessions in groups of up to 3. You’ll receive training, coaching, and a structured schedule to help students grow their skills and confidence.

Positions run for the 2026-27 school year, offering daytime, weekday hours and a paycheck via AmeriCorps. Benefits include health insurance, child care assistance, and student loan support.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, web).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
