Scoot Education is seeking dedicated substitutes and student-support staff to supervise and assist students in classrooms, cafeterias, and outdoor spaces. The role emphasizes creating a safe, inclusive learning environment and clear communication with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.
• Sit, stand, and walk, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students.
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings.

Daily Pay Range:

Up To $215/Day. Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:
