Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking substitute teachers to support classrooms in Palm Beach. Earn up to $150 per day for day-to-day assignments, with higher rates for long-term roles.

Scoot provides a dedicated Education Consultant, 1:1 check-ins, and ongoing career planning to help you connect with suitable opportunities. As a W-2 employee, you’ll receive weekly pay, access to training, and background check reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff.
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher.

Role Requirements:

• Have a teaching credential/certificate or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Have previous experience in special education settings
• Are bilingual and/or have bilingual teaching experience

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
