Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking dedicated individuals to supervise and support students in various school settings. You will help create a safe, inclusive learning environment, assist with transitions, and communicate with teachers and staff throughout the day.

Ideal candidates have a relevant degree or college credits, strong references, and are prepared to undergo state and federal background checks. This non-exempt, hourly role offers opportunities for growth and involves working across classrooms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits.
• Three professional references, including at least one from a previous supervisor.
• State & federal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment and encourage student engagement.
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following lesson plans left by the teacher.
• Communicate clearly with school staff and leave brief notes for the returning teacher.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk, and lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students.
• Observe and communicate across indoor and outdoor environments.

Daily Pay Range:

$158 -$ 210. Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits
