Scoot Education is seeking dedicated substitutes to supervise and support students in classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias across partner schools in the United States. You will help create a safe, inclusive learning environment while following lesson plans and providing feedback to teachers.

You’ll stand out with a teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, bilingual abilities, and prior experience in special education; compensation includes daily pay, training, direct

• Supervise and support students in the classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Encourage student engagement and participation throughout the day
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions, following any lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
• Sitting, standing, and walking, and able to lift up to 30 lbs while safely assisting students
• Observe and communicate across varied environments, incl. indoor and outdoor settings
• Additional role requirements will be in the handbook and shared during the interview process

Daily Pay Range:

$170 – $200. Pay will vary for day-to-day assignments and is typically more for long-term placements. Pay varies by certification, school, and assignment.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree or college credits
