Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 learners in Michigan on a contract starting ASAP through June 2027, delivering dedicated speech therapy across a network of nearby schools with small caseloads of about 10 students per site.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat per IEP goals, develop individualized plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• School-based experience providing services to students with mild to moderate speech/language needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to students in alignment with IEP goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Serve as a resource for staff and families, sharing strategies and progress updates.
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
