Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support a cluster of schools in the Lapeer, MI area on a contract basis. The role involves delivering speech-language services in a single location with a stable, school-centered caseload from ASAP through June 11, 2027.

You will develop IEPs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress. Prior school experience and CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Active Michigan SLP licensure (or eligible to obtain).
• Prior school-based experience desirable.
• Experience with autism spectrum, mild cognitive challenges, or general speech needs.
• Strong collaboration with teachers and school staff.
• Desire to make a lasting impact in a structured education environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive speech-language services to students ages pre-K through high school.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Work primarily with mild to moderate cases; no severe caseload.
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with families and educational teams to support student progress.
• Serve each school site for full days—no mid-day travel required between locations.
