Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 learners in Michigan on a contract starting ASAP through June 2027, delivering dedicated speech therapy across a network of nearby schools with small caseloads of about 10 students per site.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat per IEP goals, develop individualized plans, collaborate with teachers and families, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• School-based experience providing services to students with mild to moderate speech/language needs.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech-language therapy to students in alignment with IEP goals.

This position begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, providing dedicated speech therapy services in a close-knit network of schools conveniently situated near one another. Each setting offers a manageable caseload of approximately 10 students, with a focus on those with general speech needs, mild autism spectrum, or cognitive speech concernsno severe needs. Youll be able to devote your full attention to one site per day, fostering continuity and strong rapport.

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification
• Valid Michigan SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
• School-based experience providing services to students with mild to moderate speech/language needs, including general education and those on the autism spectrum
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and staff
