Job summary

SMART Technologies seeks an Education Solutions Consultant to lead K-12 market growth across the Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Pennsylvania territory. The role focuses on introducing SMART product solutions to districts, guiding them from concept through revenue recognition, and identifying new funding sources.

Ideal candidates will have strong presentation skills, education-related background, and the ability to travel extensively within North America.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, education, marketing or a related field.
• Ideal experience as educator.
• Experience in forecasting and hitting sales targets.
• At least two years of experience in education or sales for a fast-paced, technology-driven business.

Responsibilities

• Create a territory plan identifying priority districts and strategies to hit revenue targets.
• Introduce SMART solutions to districts from concept to revenue recognition.
• Identify new funding sources within districts and connect SMART to these contacts.
• Organize and host key events, including trade shows, executive visits and channel training.
• Provide input into strategic consortiums, training centers and DOEs.
