Job summary

Open Up Resources is seeking a Regional Development Manager to cultivate relationships with school districts and instructional leaders, driving curriculum adoptions and professional learning implementation across assigned territory. You will convert outreach into qualified opportunities and closed business, advancing HQIM impact.

This role reports to the Regional/National Director, requires outbound prospecting, demos, and travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Experience in K-12 education, curriculum sales, education-technology sales.
• Proven success in Math/ELA sales and pipeline generation.
• Demonstrated outbound prospecting and inbound management.
• Ability to develop relationships with district leaders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with presentation software and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a healthy pipeline of new-business opportunities across an assigned territory.
• Complete at least 15 proactive outbound interactions per week.
• Conduct at least 10 live outbound calls weekly.
• Schedule and complete at least 5 discovery calls or meetings weekly.
• Prioritize marketing leads and respond within 4 business hours.
• Deliver tailored presentations to instructional leaders and district decision-makers.
• Cultivate relationships with superintendents, principals, and instructional coaches.
• Represent Open Up Resources at conferences and education events.
• Maintain Salesforce records and forecast updates.
• Submit bi-weekly activity/progress reports.
• Collaborate with leadership on territory messaging.
• Provide market feedback and inform territory planning.
• Meet or exceed revenue and pipeline targets.
• Represent Open Up Resources with professionalism and commitment to educational equity.
