Job summary

Open Up Resources is seeking a Regional Development Manager to cultivate relationships with school districts and instructional leaders to drive curriculum adoptions and professional learning implementation. You will build a disciplined new-business engine, convert connections into qualified opportunities, and travel up to 50% to engage district stakeholders across the United States.

The role reports to the Regional/National Director and emphasizes equity and student success in educational

Qualifications

• Experience in K-12 education or curriculum sales.
• Proven outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
• Ability to develop relationships with district leaders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Proactively build and manage a pipeline of qualified new-business opportunities across an assigned territory.
• Execute minimum of 15 proactive outbound interactions per week.
• Conduct a minimum of 10 live outbound phone conversations per week.
• Schedule and complete a minimum of 5 discovery calls or meetings per week.
• Prioritize response to marketing leads and respond within 4 business hours.
• Deliver tailored in-person and virtual presentations to instructional leaders and district decision-makers.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers to build a referral-driven pipeline.
• Represent Open Up Resources at conferences and events.
• Maintain Salesforce records including logs and forecast updates.
• Submit bi-weekly activity and progress reports to leadership.
• Align territory priorities with leadership and strategy.
• Provide market feedback to inform territory planning and strategy.
• Meet or exceed revenue, pipeline, and activity targets.
