Job summary

You will meet annual sales goals, develop strategic territory plans, provide forecasts, and participate in conferences and industry functions. Strong communication and CRM proficiency are essential; lifting 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; minimum 2 years teaching and education sales experience preferred in publishing.
• Proven record of consistent sales growth and meeting/exceeding goals.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and internal partners.
• Documented territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; ability to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
