Job summary

Chartwells K12 is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the dining program for a premier K-12 school district in the United States. This role emphasizes delivering fresh, nutritious menus with exceptional work-life balance—no nights, no weekends, and no holidays—to allow continued focus on passion for culinary excellence.

You will guide a talented team, elevate student dining experiences, and implement innovative concepts in a fast-paced educational setting.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Culinary or related field.
Three+ years of foodservice management experience.
Dining experience and strong leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversees all finance and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
Works with the team in creating nutritious and top-quality food for the students.
Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the culinary teams.
Acts as a liaison between Chartwells, Client, and the community.
Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
