Chartwells K12 is seeking an Assistant Director of Dining Services to lead day‑to‑day operations at a medium to large K‑12 location. You will guide a dedicated team, ensure top‑quality food, nurture client relationships, and drive profitability in your area.

The role emphasizes collaboration with culinary teams, program development, and staff development to deliver outstanding service in a fast‑paced educational environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience in the food service industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience to support our financial goals and ensure operational success.
• Digital literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Associate’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chef and management team to craft nutritious and high‑quality food offerings.
• Implement innovative culinary programs in collaboration with our marketing and culinary teams.
• Foster and maintain excellent relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Lead, train, and develop associates to reach their full potential and deliver exceptional service.
