Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer (Mathematics) to join the Asset Creation team. You will develop and review mathematics content and assessment items for state and district clients, applying best practices in standards-based content and accessibility.

Collaboration with educators and product teams is essential. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with teaching experience and a strong interest in AI-assisted content creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Five years’ experience as an elementary or secondary teacher preferred.
• Strong knowledge of content development and educational trends.
• Experience with large-scale educational assessment preferred.
• Proven ability to leverage AI in content creation and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review test items across grades for large-scale assessments.
• Create item specs, blueprints, and ancillary documents.
• Use AI-powered tools to support content development and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate to integrate AI-generated assets in assessment workflows.
• Select, train, and manage item writers based on standards and best practices.
• Facilitate customer meetings and provide content assessment expertise.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies relevant to content creation.
• Travel as required.
