Job summary

Soliant is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a school setting. This on-site, full-time role runs 37.5 hours per week for the current school term, with fingerprinting clearance required before start and district approval.

You will provide accurate ASL interpretation during instructional activities, ensuring clear communication among students, teachers, and peers while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a dynamic classroom

Qualifications

• Requires current interpreter certification from the Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing – BER Level I or higher.
• Experience in school settings preferred.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language and educational interpreting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a sign language interpreter for deaf or hard-of-hearing students during instructional activities.
