Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support a high school student in Maryland. The role runs full-time from August 24, 2026 to June 11, 2027, with potential ESY extension, and follows school hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

Qualified candidates will be proficient in ASL and classroom interpretation, with experience in educational settings preferred and certification as an interpreter desirable. On-site position with benefits and housing/meals may be offered.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and interpretation in school settings.
• Experience with high school students or educational settings is valued.
• Certification as Sign Language Interpreter or relevant credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between a high school student and staff in classes and activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to provide accurate interpretation.
• Support the student’s integration into academic and social activities.
• Be flexible for events and extracurricular activities as needed.
