Job summary

Fehr & Peers in Los Angeles area is seeking an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer or Planner. The role provides foundational experience under experienced staff, applying standard techniques while developing skills and confidence for advancement.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s or in-progress master's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or related field.
• An EIT is preferred for engineering candidates.
• Experience or exposure to transportation topic areas and related software/tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other technical deliverables.
• Participate in meetings, including preparing presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
• Conduct site visits and collect field data.
• Explore opportunities to contribute to Fehr & Peers' internal Research and Development program.
• Embrace opportunities to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
