Job summary

Fehr & Peers is seeking an entry-level Transportation Engineer/Planner in Riverside to support a variety of transportation planning, engineering, and design projects. You’ll learn standard techniques under experienced staff, developing the skills, knowledge, and confidence to grow in your career.

You’ll contribute to transportation planning, traffic operations analysis, design tasks, and public outreach while embracing new tools and approaches to improve day-to-day work and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in transportation, civil or related field; an EIT is preferred.
• Coursework in transportation planning, engineering or related subjects.
• Experience or exposure to field work, traffic operations analysis and planning.
• Familiarity with software tools such as GIS, CAD, traffic modeling and programming.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other technical deliverables.
• Participate in meetings and prepare presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
