Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Civil or Transportation Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Candidates actively pursuing their degree may apply.
• Candidates with other engineering/applied science degrees may apply.
• Experience with electrical and communications systems is a plus.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience; internship preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple assignments.
• Proficiency with MicroStation/AutoCAD and MS Office expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing roadway alignments, profiles, and typical sections.
• Prepare construction plans for roadway geometrics, MOT, and erosion/sediment control.
• Perform drainage and stormwater design tasks with senior engineers.
• Support traffic engineering designs including signals, ITS, signing, and pavement markings.
• Use design software to produce plan sets and 3D models.
• Contribute to technical reports and design documentation.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and participate in site visits as needed.
