Work with senior engineers on projects from local intersections to major interchanges, with exposure to national and international work.

This role emphasizes mentorship, hands-on training, and accelerated career growth, developing expertise in highway and traffic engineering within a collaborative, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering from ABET-accredited program (or actively pursuing).
• 0-4 years of relevant experience; internships/work experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and handle multiple assignments.
• Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of roadway alignments and typical sections.
• Prepare construction plans for roadway geometrics and MOT.
• Perform drainage and stormwater design tasks with senior engineers.
• Support traffic design elements (signals, ITS/TSMO, signing, markings, lighting).
• Use design software to produce plan sets and 3D models (MicroStation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD).
• Prepare construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Contribute to technical reports and design documentation.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and participate in site visits as needed.
