Job summary

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a technical field is required, with 0–1 years experience. Clear communication in English and ability to obtain government clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree; 0–1 year experience.
• Ability to analyze new technologies and initiatives; provide engineering solutions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Ability to obtain government clearance and pass background checks.
• Excellent written and spoken English; produce detailed technical monthly reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess new technologies and initiatives.
• Provide technical support for systems engineering and technical assistance.
• Develop and maintain essential technical documentation (plans, specifications, design docs, requirements).
• Support cost analyses, ROM estimates, feasibility studies, and program requirements.
• Assist with requirements definition, system design, development, integration and testing.
• Interact with Sponsors and Fleet personnel on design, production and in-service efforts.
• Travel: extensive travel; work aboard US Navy ships pierside and at-sea.
