Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support the SSDS CSSQTs on the TESS Task Order. The role, based in Port Hueneme, CA, involves system engineering, test analysis and technical documentation with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree with 16+ years’ Navy systems experience.
• No degree with at least 20 years of Navy systems experience.
• Must be capable of becoming PE TQS certified within 12 to 18 months.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Must satisfactorily complete background check and obtain government clearance.
• Must write, speak, and understand English and produce detailed monthly reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage test event activities, briefings, milestones, and program metrics.
• Develop test plans and associated documentation for test events.
• Coordinate review and approval of test docs and distribute to participants.
• Support milestones such as Mission Control Panels and Readiness Reviews.
• Assess system config and operability; review ship’s force readiness.
• Provide detailed test event status via SITREPs and updates.
• Coordinate with ship’s force, test participants, and test lead on status.
• Assist post-event meetings; discuss outcomes, issues, and lessons learned.
• Collect and analyze test data, TORs, and related issues.
• Support DAWGs; perform root-cause analysis and Quick Look reports.
• Conduct debriefs to present results and recommendations; support FRBs.
