Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. in Norfolk, VA (Remote eligible) seeks a Senior Test Engineer to fill the Project Engineer role for the TESS Task Order, with extensive travel.

You will perform system engineering, test analysis, and documentation support for Aegis/BMD CSSQTs, lead test events, develop plans, and coordinate with ship's force and stakeholders.

Requires Bachelor's in Engineering or CS with 16+ years Navy systems experience, or 20 years without degree; must travel and obtain clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 16+ years of technical Navy systems experience, or 20 years without degree.
• Experience supporting Navy Aegis/BMD CSSQTs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage test event activities, including briefings, milestones, and metrics.
• Develop test plans and documents and ensure distribution to participants.
• Support mission readiness reviews and post-event actions.
• Coordinate with ship’s force, test participants, and test lead on status and issues.
• Analyze test event data and prepare quick look reports.
• Develop evidence-based conclusions and recommendations.
• Be capable of PE TQS certification within 12-18 months.
• Possess valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
• Eligibility for government clearance and background check.
• Strong English writing and reporting skills.
