Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Applications Specialist to support the TESS Task Order at NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme, CA. The role focuses on system engineering, test and evaluation, logistics, and configuration management with some travel.

The candidate will produce high-level technical documents, coordinate with SMEs and Navy officers, and manage mission annexes for classified test missions while ensuring compliance with Navy/MDA standards and maintaining document integrity.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s degree in a technical field with 6+ years of experience or 10+ years of relevant technical experience without a degree.
• Capable of producing high-level technical documents for complex ABD BMD missions.
• Ability to interpret classified and unclassified requirements from multiple sources (SIPRnet and other networks).
• Experience drafting specifications with SMEs and maintaining mission annexes for classified test missions.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-level technical test plans and documentation for Aegis BMD and related trials.
• Coordinate classified and unclassified technical meetings and produce precise notes.
• Maintain documentation integrity for classified and unclassified materials.
• Draft, edit, and maintain mission annexes and ensure alignment with test requirements.
• Travel as required and obtain government clearance.
