Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support CIWS testing on the TESS task order.

The role entails on-site installation, checkout, operation, maintenance, and removal of CIWS variants at field test sites in San Diego, CA, with moderate travel. The candidate will provide technical guidance during integration tests, onboard ships, and contractor sites, and will develop and maintain test documentation and maintenance plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS or other technical field; 6 years’ experience or no degree with 12+ years Navy systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, checkout, operations, maintenance and removal of CIWS variants at field test sites.
• Provide on-site technical expertise and training during Integration Tests, onboard ships, test sites, and contractor sites.
• Prepare and update technical test documentation and ensure test execution readiness.
• Review ship configurations and drawings to characterize equipment under test.
• Develop maintenance/groom plans for assigned systems including test requirements and checklists.
• Generate reports on test problems and communicate results to sponsors and agencies.
