Job summary

AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. seeks a Logistics Engineer to support the TESS Task Order. The role involves system and hardware engineering, T&E, logistics, and CM with some travel, onsite at NSWC PHD, Port Hueneme, CA.

Candidates should have a technical degree or substantial Navy systems experience, with strong documentation and MS Office skills. Background check and government clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or technical field with 4+ years’ experience, or without degree but 10+ years technical Navy systems experience.
• Knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering and Navy combat systems experience preferred.
• Experience with MK 34 and MK 48 Gun Weapon Systems via OJT.
• Ability to develop and revise ICDs, technical manuals, PMS documents and assessments.
• Ability to support project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables with team leads.
• Experience with test/evaluation, hardware/software testing in labs, troubleshooting to restore equipment.
• Knowledge of MS Word and MS Office; strong technical writing skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, travel willingness, and ability to obtain a government clearance.
• Ability to follow company policies and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Support system engineering, hardware engineering, T&E, logistics, and configuration management.
• Provide technical documentation and revisions for sustainment and modernization.
• Assist in developing, managing, and executing project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
• Support testing and validation of Maintenance Requirement Cards and combat system reports.
