The role is full-time and onsite at NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme, CA. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or a technical degree) with 4+ years of experience, or 10+ years with no degree, plus Network+ and Security+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree with ≥4 years experience, or no degree with ≥10 years network admin experience.
• CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications.
• Experience administering Windows Server, Linux RedHat, and Unix.
• Proficiency with MS Word/MS Office; strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development of new functionalities and system updates.
• Debugging, user support, and developing technical documentation.
• Provide support for procurement, operation, and maintenance of network hardware.
• Onsite support at NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme, CA.
