Windsor Public Schools is seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst / Technology Support Technician to join our district Technology team.
This role blends data and systems work—supporting configuration, data integrity, and reporting of PowerSchool and other district information and inventory systems—with hands-on hardware and software support across multiple school sites. You will travel between schools, troubleshoot issues, maintain device images, and provide on-site and remote assistance as needed.

Seeking a super organized, detail-oriented, digitally savvy self-starter with a keen eye for spotting errors to join our school district Technology team in a new Jr. Systems Analyst / Technology Support Technician position. This role blends data and systems work — supporting the Systems Analyst in the configuration, data integrity, and reporting of PowerSchool and other district information and inventory systems — with hands‑on technician duties that keep classrooms and offices across the district running smoothly.
To be successful, you must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, have basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL, understand the importance and broad goals of collecting and reporting data in a public education environment, and be an enthusiastic learner. You must have a knack for successfully solving problems related to software and hardware, be comfortable traveling between school sites, and be able to work independently as well as a member of a team. Above all, you must be honest and have integrity.

Under the direction of the Director of Information and Technology, performs a variety of duties related to district-wide operation and maintenance of district information systems, end-user hardware, and related technology infrastructure. Creates and maintains student and staff records, assists in the validation and accurate reporting of data, assists in software configuration and documentation, and provides direct technical support to schools and central office locations across the district. This position requires a high level of independence, flexibility, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Regular travel between schools and central offices will be required to provide on-site technical support district-wide.
