Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support day-to-day enterprise system operations, server builds, OS installations, and routine maintenance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, training, or instructional design roles.
• Foundational skills in installing, configuring, and updating operating systems and common server software.
• Basic skills in instructional design and presentation development.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Candidates must possess a current secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with server builds, OS installation, configuration, patching, and routine maintenance per procedures.
• Monitor system health, review alerts, perform first-line troubleshooting, and elevate incidents with diagnostics and documentation.
• Use standard admin tools for user/group management, file permissions, and basic network config on servers.
• Support design and delivery of technical and process training by helping define learning objectives and content.
• Build and maintain training assets such as slide decks, handouts, simple e-learning modules, job aids, and quick-reference guides.
• Facilitate portions of classroom or virtual training sessions, respond to learner questions, and collect feedback to measure training effectiveness.
• Help track training participation and outcomes in learning management systems and support change-management activities tied to new rollouts.
