Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior System Administrator to support DISA's GSM-O contract at Scott AFB, IL. The role protects information systems and ensures secure operation.

The candidate will maintain multi-user computer systems, document processes, and provide on-call support as required. A security clearance and DoD 8750 training are required within 6 months. Responsibilities include incident response readiness, ticketing liaison, and collaboration with customers and other admins.

Qualifications

• BA Degree and less than 2 years of experience. Experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• 1 year of experience in customer service environment
• Must hold an active SECRET security clearance prior to start.
• Complete DoD 8750 certification e.g. Security+ within 6 months of start date.
• Basic Understanding of Scripting Languages

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems and coordinate with customers.
• Communicate policies and procedures to customers
• Update digital systems to provide insight to ongoing efforts and tickets
• Monitor alarm systems
• Perform basic level system administrator duties
• Interact with users and evaluate vendor products
• Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation and SOPs
• Provide on-call, extended hour, and weekend support as required
• System monitoring using installed and external tools
