Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0-2+ years in utility substation engineering with a B.S. degree.
• 0-1+ years in utility substation engineering with a M.S. degree.
• Solid understanding of electric power principles.
• Strong attention to details and quality deliverables.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with physical electrical, protection and control, SCADA, station communications and automation design.
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support design.
• Follow the established Quality Control Plan for assignments.
• Prepare project deliverables including drawings and technical reports.
• Collaborate with other substation disciplines as required.
• Develop processes to improve project execution efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
