Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field; ABET preferred.
• Internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard structural engineering techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, quantitative problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and RISA.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• EIT certification preferred.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Campus or community involvement preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design from concept through design completion.
• Modify and review production drawings for various facilities.
• Design structural components per project manager needs.
• Apply basic structural engineering concepts per codes.
• Assist with project data collection.
• Update drawings across CAD software.
• Assist in client presentations, shop drawing review, contract admin.
• Perform field inspections and calculations.
• Other duties as assigned.
