Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field; ABET accreditation preferred.
• Internship or related consulting experience preferred.
• Proficient with standard structural engineering techniques and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with CAD/BIM software including AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla.

Responsibilities

• Assist in structural design from conceptual phase through design completion.
• Assist with modifying and reviewing production drawings for a variety of facilities.
• Assist in designing structural components to meet project needs and client requirements.
• Apply basic knowledge of structural engineering concepts, codes and practices.
• Assist with researching and compiling project-related data as required.
• Assist with updating drawings in CAD-related software and verify corrections.
• Support client presentations, shop drawing review, and contract administration.
• Assist in field inspections, measurements or calculations for clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies.
