You will collaborate with the Structural Lead, engineers, and designers to develop reliable, code-compliant solutions and learn to communicate structural requirements in drawings and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• This position is project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (~50 miles).
• Internet speed minimum 25Mbps down / 10Mbps up.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform conventional aspects of Structural Engineering analysis and design.
• Develop judgment in independent evaluation and adaptation of engineering techniques and criteria.
• Develop engineering judgment and problem‑solving skills with guidance from peers and seniors.
• Learn lateral analysis and design (wind and seismic) per building codes.
• Maintain high attention to detail and quality control.
• Take responsibility for workload, meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Own your portion of the structural scope and communicate with project team.
• Identify when guidance is needed and seek help from senior engineers.
• Work timely, accurately and cost-effectively.
