Job summary

TYLin Buildings in Rochester, NY is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team. You will work with project teams on structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings, from conceptual stages through to completion.

The role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and integrity, with exposure to REVIT Structure and structural analysis tools (RISA, SAP, RAM). A 0–3 year background with a Civil or Architectural Engineering degree is expected, and EIT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on structures preferred.
• Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in commercial/institutional/residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to perform structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects (steel, concrete, masonry, wood).
• Assist in preparing drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field reviews for projects under construction.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
