TYLin Buildings is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Rochester, NY team. The role focuses on structural design and analysis for buildings, including renovations and new construction, with collaboration across disciplines.

Applicants should have a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering degree, 5–12 years of experience, and a PE license is preferred. Master’s and historic preservation experience are a plus, with REVIT and analysis software proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering required.
• 5–12 years of structural engineering experience on building projects (residential, commercial, institutional).
• PE license preferred; SE license asset considered.
• Master’s degree and historic buildings experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects.
• Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
• Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Coordinating with staff and clients on projects.
