Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking an entry-level Civil/Structural Engineer to assist in routine designs under direct supervision. You will apply IBC-based criteria, review drawings, and support the drafting team to produce efficient construction documents. Ideal candidates hold a B.S.

or M.S. in Civil Engineering, have basic knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD or MicroStation), and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Up to 1 year of relevant civil/structural engineering experience.
• Knowledge of the International Building Code and related standards (ASCE, AISC, ACI).
• Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and MS Office tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine civil/structural design tasks under direct supervision.
• Develop conceptual layouts, calculations, and sketches for construction.
• Review vendor and discipline drawings for conformance to drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with design leaders to ensure timely project completion.
