Job summary

TYLin Buildings is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our NYC team. You will participate in the structural design and analysis for diverse buildings, collaborating with project teams from concept through construction.

The role requires a Civil/Architectural Engineering degree, EIT preferred, and familiarity with REVIT Structure and common analysis software. Hybrid work available in New York City office with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; structures focus preferred.
• Master's degree would be considered an asset.
• Passing of E.I.T. exam preferred.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred.
• Familiarity with REVIT Structure preferred.
• Familiarity with computer analysis software (RISA, SAP, RAM) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for buildings using steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and older systems from conceptual to completion.
• Assist in drawings and specifications preparation.
• Conduct site investigations to document existing conditions.
• Perform field reviews for projects under construction.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
